Our Story
More than a space. A sense of home.
Gallé means home in Fulani, the founder's native language.
The name reflects what home means beyond a physical place — a sense of belonging, comfort, identity and connection.
At Maison Gallé, we believe the most meaningful spaces are not simply beautiful. They feel personal, considered and genuinely lived in.
That sense of home is where every Maison Gallé project begins.

Our philosophy
Beyond the décor.
We look beyond how a space looks to understand how it is lived in, what already exists, what isn't working and what could be possible. Sometimes a space already has much of what it needs. It simply needs to be looked at differently.
A difficult layout may reveal another possibility. An existing feature may deserve to be preserved rather than replaced. A forgotten corner may find a completely new purpose.
This way of looking at spaces gradually became the foundation of Maison Gallé. Our purpose is simple: to create thoughtful interiors that feel beautiful, personal and right for the people who call them home.
See the space. Understand its potential. Make it yours.
Our approach
Thoughtful from the first idea to the final detail.
Every project begins with listening and observing. We take the time to understand your needs, your way of living and the space itself before defining a creative direction.
From there, we imagine, visualize, source and coordinate according to the needs of the project, always keeping the original intention in sight.
LISTEN · OBSERVE · IMAGINE · VISUALIZE · SOURCE · COORDINATE · BRING TO LIFE

Founder & Creative Direction
With a background in graphic design and visualisation, Idia has spent nearly two decades working with composition, colour, proportion and visual storytelling.

***
Maison Gallé works across Canada and Senegal, while also accompanying clients who are designing or transforming a property from abroad.
Working across different places, cultures and ways of living naturally shapes our perspective, without defining a single aesthetic.
What remains constant is the way we approach each project: with curiosity, intention and respect for the place we're working with.
