Spaces reimagined with intention.

Villa Nouraïsha in Diamniadio, Senegal, is a two-level residence with two distinct interior identities. Mont Kolima, on the ground floor, draws on warmth, texture and subtle references to the Fouta, interpreted in a contemporary way.
Ténéré, upstairs, takes inspiration from the quiet atmosphere of the Niger desert, its horizons, natural materials, warm light and sense of calm, without creating a literal or themed interior. The project involved completing unfinished elements and rethinking difficult constraints.

Every transformation has a story.
Design decisions at Villa Nouraïsha that embraced existing constraints rather than concealing them.
REIMAGINE
REVEAL
INTEGRATE
An unfinished small pool/basin that could no longer be developed as originally planned was transformed into a fountain, working with the existing structure rather than demolishing everything.
An open patio originally intended mainly for light and ventilation was transformed into a second shower filled with natural light, while solving the issue of rain entering the space.
Existing architectural and technical constraints were incorporated into the design rather than simply hidden or removed, giving the residence its distinctive personal character.
